As I have said in previous posts, I did not realize the effort it took to prepare a meal. I feel like i did a very good job being prepared for my meal. My family thought I did a great job preparing my meal as well. My meal was similar to a Eucharistic meal in many ways. First, it was simialar because we came together as a family, or community, to share the meal. Also, took time to prepare for making the meal and I prepared the meal. Next, We prayed before and after the meal. We showed God our thankfulness for the things that he has given us. Another way my meal was similar to the Eucharistic Meal was that I was like the presider. I prepared the meal and lead the prayers. My family was like the assembly, they participated in the meal and enjoyed it. Our meal was a symbol of a Catholic Mass. Like the Eucharist, the meal nourished us physicaly and spiritually by bringing us closer to God. Although, it was only a symbol of the Eucharist becuase we did not recieve Christ. Although it was not easy, I did have fun sharing the meal I made with my family, and may be I will try making a meal again in the future.
Thanks!
All work here is honestly obtained and is my own.

Reflection
I realized that it takes a huge effort to make a full meal for a family of five. I had to buy all of the ingredients, cook everything so that it was all ready at the same time. Also, I had to set the table and serve the meal. After, I had to clean up, wash the dishes, and put the dishes away. It took an unexpected amount of time and effort to prepare this meal. Before beginning the actual preparation of the meal, I needed to buy all the ingredients, and measure them out correctly. If I made a meal and then did not have anyone to eat it would be a waste. I need help paying for the ingredients, I needed my mom to drive me to the store, and of course, I needed my family to enjoy the meal I prepared.
At a meal, a community comes together to celebrate and talk about their day. The community comes together to be nourished as well. I gather for meals with my friends in different places like our houses or the mall. In my family, our meals almost always consist of a salad, a meat portion, and some form of bread. Many changes occur when people eat a meal together. Physically, our bodies are nourished and the food gives us energy to continue with our daily activities. Socially, people talk and interact with each other while sharing a meal. Almost every social event i can think of involves some form of food. Spiritually and morally, we become thankful to God in many ways. We are thankful for the family and friends God has given us. We are thankful for the food, and job God has given us. We are also thankful for the house we have been given. This thankfulness brings us closer to God and strengthens our relationship with God. We have more trust in him. Also, if we have a bad day it is nice to know that we will always have our family and friends and a meal to share with them.

Trip to the Grocery Store
I just got back from the grocery store. While there I chose to make a Caesar salad with Lasagna and an ice cream sundae for dessert. I plan on making the dinner tomorrow night. My family is excited to see how it turns out.
